DPP Academy is open: short films on digital product passports

DPP Academy opened on dppagent.com/academy on 5 October 2026. It is a series of short films on digital product passports, with the source on screen.

What it covers

  • The basics, ten episodes: what a passport is, who it applies to and when, the address with GTIN and GS1 Digital Link, model, batch or item, what a passport must contain, who sees what, the EU registry, the CEN standards, where the data lives today, and why a passport must outlive its vendor.
  • By category, five episodes: batteries, textiles, tyres, electronics and furniture.
  • In practice, six episodes: getting started, reading a validation report, common gaps in real passports, from a GTIN list to QR codes, what applies when, and how much data it really is.

Each episode is about two minutes long and can be watched in 14 languages: English, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Greek, Polish, Lithuanian and Dutch. The category episodes are presented by AI-generated experts, labelled as AI in the films.

Two more seasons, on working in DPP Agent step by step, are for signed-in customers. Episodes are also linked from the help page and from articles on this site.
