DPP Agent (dppagent.com): Blippa's passport platform
Blippa makes two things that sit on the same product data. DPP Agent (dppagent.com) is the passport platform: it holds the data the law requires and publishes it as a Digital Product Passport. Blippa services are what the passport should not carry, such as owner data, accounts and logs from other systems, and they sit beside it. This article is about the first of the two.
What DPP Agent does
DPP Agent connects to the systems you already have: Akeneo, Centra, Shopify or a spreadsheet. From there it builds product passports to EU requirements: ESPR, the Battery Regulation and the CEN standards EN 18216–18223.
The passports live on your own address, e.g. dpp.yourbrand.com, and follow GS1 Digital Link, so the QR code you already print can point there. The validator shows what is missing. AI fills gaps, but with a visible source and always after your approval.
On top of the passport sit services such as Ask the passport, repair and resale that bring the customer back. And the passports outlive the vendor.
Fast, yours, open
A first passport in minutes from what you already publish. Your domain, your design, exportable data. Standards instead of lock-in.
The name
